Krispy Kreme~~~

The first time I came to know about Krispy Kreme was when Im still studying in Adelaide. Friends who went to Melbourne will definitely bring a box or two back. What so special bout this donut??? I only can say.... U try it... U will know the answer.

Finally, Krispy Kreme has entered Malaysia and is located in Berjaya Times Square.

Went over to BTS for window shopping and... I managed to buy 2 dozen of donuts. Hahaha~!!!

If you ask me, which do I prefer? J-CO? Big Apple? Krispy Kreme? Well... My ranking will be...

1. J-CO
2. Krispy Kreme
3. Big Apple

Kripy Kreme is slight more expensive then J-CO donuts. And I find Krispy Kreme donuts abit sweeter than J-CO. But... the texture of both J-CO and Krispy kreme donuts is prefect. U have 1 and u will not stop having another 1 after that.

This year, we celebrated Father's Day in Tony Roma's.

Without aby reservation, how m I gonna get a table on the exact day itself??? Well, no choice. I have to. My dad suddenly craving for steak and ribs. So,

Porridge in Malacca~~~

My cousins brought us to a restaurant (I forget de name) to have porridge for supper. It was almost 11pm and the restaurant is still full with people.

porridge...

We ordered a few variety of porridge (single portion) to try. Ended up... the single portion is so big that can actually serve 3 people. No choice... We still have to finish it.

minced pork porridge...

fish porridge...

salted egg porridge...

My cousin brother ordered fried kuey tiew. They actually add an raw egg on top of it and the customer will mix the kuey tiew and raw egg together. This makes the texture of the kuey tiew smooth and nice.

kuey tiew...

We also order a few dishes to go with the porridge...

fried fish with spring onion & ginger...

beans with prawns...

kong bo prawn mantis...

It was a simple but delicious supper.

I'll make sure I get the name of the restuarant when I take a trip down to Malacca again.

'How long to drive down to Malacca?'

'If i drive 1 hour plus... If u drive... 2 hours or abit more lo.' Baby answered...

Well, Im gonna drive down to Malacca with mummy. Sis having her dance camp there so we gonna attend her mini concert by the camp.

Me: 'Hello... 2 hours dy... And guess whr m i now?'

Baby: 'Malacca lo... Summore whr...'

Me: 'Erm... No. Im near Kajang area...'

Baby -.-"

Yeap. I was stuck in the jam. From sungai Besi toll, all the way to kajang, all the way to nilai......

jam...

There are so so so so so many cars on the road. Is Agong's birthday. Why cant people just stay at home to rest??? Why must they go somewhr and causes massive jam?????

jam...

'Oh... I saw the signboard to enter Air Keroh/Malacca dy... 2km more. Shud be reaching soon...'
I called my cousin in Malacca, letting him noe.

1 hour later...

'Erm... Im still at the toll area...'
Im getting frustrated oredi... 1 km 1 hour??? OMG~!!!!!!

Finally... We reached Malacca oredi.

Time departure : 10:30am
Time arrival : 3:00pm

malacca...

It was my 1st time driving that far... to malacca. And it become my worse experience. 4 hours plus to reach the destination. Plus, driving at the speed of 20-30km/hr. I have to keep eating the sour thingy to make me stay awake.

We planned to depart early so we can have Nyonya food when we arrived during noon. Now... I missed my Nyonya food, and the only food to have at that hour is... Tongkak Beef Noodle.

beef noodle...

No more driving for me to places tat takes more than 2 hours. Luckily Im not heading to Penang, if not... I think it will take me 10 hours to reach. *pengsan*
