It was my colleague, kuah soon huat, last day working in the company... He will be leaving to pursue his dreams...

We had a simple yet expensive farewell lunch with him... At a restaurant in Citta mall, Meatworks Restaurant...

Kuah ordered Pan Roasted Barramundi (RM48), served on pearl barley herb risotto, with seared scallops and Anise salad...

As for me, not really a meat lover, order the Baked Silver Cod (RM45), served on a bed of lentils with carrots, cauliflower, broccoli and a dollop of paprika aioli...

The fillet is fresh and juicy... NICE!!!

Here comes Steve's BBQ Spare Ribs (RM50) braised and barbequed to tender perfection... It looks nice and juicy but Steve finds it dry and tasteless...

As for Eric, meat lover, ordered Sirloin 250g (RM50). Well, he just came back from Germany and after tasting the food there, he claim that this is not up to standard... :-p

Last... Honey Chili Mini Ribs (RM33), "triple-basted" with honey chili BBQ sauce, served with MV chips and coleslaw... This is nice...

The bill came up to be ~RM300++. Quite expensive... but I'll definitely come back for the fish again...

Italiannies - Let's Do Lunch~~~

Its time for lunch. Kinda bored with the food behind my office. So, Steve suggested to head to Empire Shopping Mall to hunt for food~~~

The lunch set comes with a cup of soup or green salad & free flow of Pepsi... and is RM15.90++

Being greedy, we ordered extra appetizer - Quattro Platter. A combination of deep-fried risotto balls, calamari, fried lemon cheesy balls and zucchini strings, complete with marinara sauce and alfredo dressing for dipping.

The cheesy balls are so CHEEZY.. The risotto balls are so RICEY.. The Zucchini strings are so NO COMMENTS.. The calamari are NICE......

Venezia Italian Restaurant~~~

Went to this Venezia Italian Restaurant few weeks ago... It is located in Taman Segar, Cheras. Some where near Leisure Mall.

This is not a fancy restaurant... But everytime when I passed by this restaurant, it is always full.

So, we decided to give it a try...

Me, baby, mum and sis each ordered a main dish and a pizza to share. Of coz, garlic bread and soup for appetizer..

First come the garlic bread. Italian homemade bread topped with butter, garlic, chopped parsley, salt and pepper.

We ordered Clam soup sauteed with garlic, basil, olive oil and herbs (Zuppa Con Vongole). The soup is nice. It dont taste too 'tomato-ish' and the clams are big a fresh.

You can see the owner is alwiz in front of the big oven, making all sort of pizza. We ordered the regular Hawaiian pizza. Full with pineapple, ham and cheese... Yumm Yumm~~~

Here come our main dish...

My sister ordered Spaghetti Alla Carbonara. Not very creamy... Not too cheesy... Just nice (for me!) Hahaha...

I ordered Spaghetti Alla Vongole. It is so delicious~~~ Make me think of the spaghetti my baby cooked once for me when we back in Adelaide. *hint hint* Hehehe...

My baby ordered Filetto Di Manzo. Juicy grilled beef tenderloin served with potatoes and fresh vegetables with black pepper sauce.

As stated in the menu, the beef is juicy and the sauce is very black pepper-ish~~~ Perfect match~!!!

Lastly, Pesce Al Cartoccio for my mum. This is a dish where they put dory fish fillet in aluminium foil together with carrot, celery, garlic lemon juice and bake it.

I cant stop 'curi makan' my mum's dish... Hehehe... It is too juicy and delicious~~~

Pricing wise... Not that expensive. Average I can say for pizza and pasta. So, I will definitely come back again...

Restaurant Tony Roma's~~~

This year, we celebrated Father's Day in Tony Roma's.

Without aby reservation, how m I gonna get a table on the exact day itself??? Well, no choice. I have to. My dad suddenly craving for steak and ribs. So, as expected, no reservation made earlier, we have to wait for about half an hour to get a place.

They are having this new menu... Tony's 13-inch platter. There are about 10 ribs which can serve 3-4 person. Price??? If not wrong, is about RM99.00++. Well, is quite a good deal if there's a family of 4 and everyone wanna have the ribs for their meal.

The waiter who is serving us is Jarome. I dun really noe how to pronouce it the correct way, but 1 thing for sure... He's good. He's friendly. He's nice. He's honest. He give us some suggestion on the food menu. He's... A best waiter, I can say.

We didnt wait for long. The food came... 20 minutes later. Tats consider fast as the restaurant is so packed with customers.

First to come... Baked potato soup. The soup is so rich and delicious... Im craving for it when Im writing this blog. Hahaha...

This apple crisp a la mode... They have apple cinnamon about half of the bowl and juz a scoop of ice cream on top of it. The apple is so sour... End up, we finished the ice cream and there's still quarter of the apple cinnamon.

Is kinda waste if we didnt finish it. So... Thanks to Jarome again, he got us another scoop of ice cream and is FREE OF CHARGE.

Im so glad there's only 1 Mother's Day and 1 Father's Day in a year and both are over now. If not... my wallet will definitely have a BIG BIG hole and Im gonna get VERY FAT~!!!

How did me and baby celebrated Valentine's Day??? Well... It didnt went well in the begining. We had some small arguements. Yeap~! Right on Valentine's Day! Anyway, things get sorted out and we had quite a wonderful Valentine's dinner after all.

We didnt make any reservation in advanced... so we decided to drop by over at Tropicana City Mall and random pick a restaurant to celebrate our Valentine's Day.

On each table there's a red glass with small candle inside. Surrounding the glass are some red rose petals which makes the whole atmosphere feels so lovely and romantic~~~

We ordered the U.S. Lobster Combo Set. Being more romantic, we only ordered 1 set to share. Hahaha~!!! No la... Actually we had a heavy lunch and to have each a set for dinner will definitely blow our stomach up.

The set started with belly-warming Clam Chowder with Potato and Leeks soup.

Here comes our main course... 1/2 U.S. Live Lobster Thermidore Paired with Grilled Rump Steak. besides Grilled Rump Steak, we have a choice of Grilled Salmon, Grilled Lamb Chops or Grilled Chicken as well.
